Enid's Past Due Check-Up

Today, Enid met her new pediatrician, Allison Houck Goodlett, M.D., F.A.A.P. She was a trooper (though no shots were involved), and everyone got a kick out of her. She's such a character... Enid that is!

She weighed 23lbs 7oz, and was just over 34" tall! For her ACTUAL age (not adjusted by due date), she's at the 14th percentile for weight and the 79th percentile for height... tall and skinny.

Apparently, she IS speaking very well for her actual age, 21 months, and we were told not to be concerned about her lack of canines yet. All of her teeth have come in at odd intervals anyway.

Dr. Goodlet said that everything was fine, and that she doesn't need to be seen until her 3-year check-up! What a relief! I don't miss the days of Pulmonologists and Physical Therapists... of O2 and monitors... Things are simpler now. Well, that is until we start potty training!
