What a bummer!

We were so busy running around Saturday that we TOTALLY forgot it was Free Comic Book Day!! How crazy is that?!?! Us??? Forget Free Comic Book Day???

It was also National Scrapbooking Day, so Gerald occupied Enid long enough for me to shop in Scrapdoodles a little. There were crops and parties going on, but I haven't been to any since we moved back to VA.

Since it was ALSO Cinco de Mayo, we went to Pancho Villa to hear a Mariachi band. Collen, Tim, and their kids met us there, and we had a good time. All three kids got the cutest little plastic pinatas, and the waitress that adores Enid gave her a purple star necklace. She really seemed to enjoy the music, and she even got up and danced with the waitress.

The next morning, the first thing Enid said when she woke up was "Where's Zowee?" I had no idea what she was talking about, but she hopped out of bed and grabbed the little pinata and said, "There he is!!" So, meet Zowee!

This morning, we met Colleen + kids, Jen + kids, and Michelle + kids at Sweet Briar park. We played for about two hours and had a picnic lunch. We're thinking of making it a regular Monday outing.... different destinations depending on weather etc. It's nice because the kids are similar ages.

ANYWAY... here's a funny shirt we found on clearance at Old Navy. Too true!
