Reminder of Walk America

As most of you know, Enid was born at 29 weeks gestation weighing 2lbs 2oz and spent 3 months in the NICU. If it weren't for the support of programs similar to the March of Dimes, parents like us would have no one to turn to in their time of need.

Gerald and I have decided to participate in Walk America in Culpeper, VA on September 30th. We will be walking together and taking Enid along in the jogging stroller. It is a 3 mile walk, so we can do it... as long as the weather cooperates.

I'm posting this to invite you to sponsor us and make a donation by clicking on the link to the right. You can give any amount from $1 on up, but we're hoping for $10 minimums. Our Team ZigZone goal is $200.

The money we raise will help save premature and sick babies. Premature birth is the #1 cause of newborn death, so this is an event that will be emotional for me, no doubt!
