We were wrong about...
...my car! Gerald got the mud guard piece reattached and the noise was still there! So, he ended up taking off my front right tire and found that a metal plate right behind the tire was making the noise, but we didn't know why. Upon further inspection, he found a TINY rock wedged there! ALL that noise was coming from a little rock that was making the metal plate rattle. It's amazing... I just couldn't get over how much of a racket what was essentially a pebble could make... and what are the odds that it flew up under my car JUST right to get stuck?!?
All the appliances are now up and running, but today when I used the microwave, it flipped the breaker! I had already taken the food out, and I noticed the time wasn't showing any more. Then I opened the fridge and it was off. It must have something to do with the fridge being on the same circuit. We might have to ask someone about that too!
We did the hose test on the skylight and it didn't leak! I'm thinking it may be fixed, but the TRUE test will be a good downpour.
At the park this morning, there were two little boys right at Enid's age, and man were they chunkers! Enid was so much taller than them too... she's like a giant... well a munchkin giant.
Oh... We've come to the realization that Enid is in serious need of a good bookshelf. I like the dollhouse ones, and those are available unfinished or as a kit at Target. We are trying to decide if we should get something to put out in the living room. Her bedroom is small, and she doesn't play in there much right now. Her toy bins are in the living room already. There are just so many books! I have my kids books from teaching still boxed up, and she won't be able to get free reign of those until she's older.
