General Update

Enid's cupcakes have been ordered and now I get the pleasure of decorating them. I'm planning on letting Enid help though.

Within the next couple of weeks, we're going to get her pictures made at Sears like we did last year. Hopefully, we will get as good of a photographer as my old boss Jo is in Rocky Mount. We've decided that this will be the tradition... Halloween, birthday, and family photos... instead of the normal Xmas most people take. But hey- - we're definitely not normal! :)

I've added the weather on the right side of the blog so you can see how things are in our neck of the woods. It should make it easier for me too since the blog is my homepage!

Our Xmas shopping is well under way, but we'll be drawing names for the Ziegler side at the bday party. I LOVE shopping for other people and actually wish I could have a gift basket business. Everyone always seems to like the gift baskets I make for different occasions... I just don't know if there's enough need/want for them around here. It could be some extra income if I knew where to begin... maybe an ad in the LOW newsletter??

This time it rained, the kitchen skylight leaked! AND it's the one they had sealed before we bought the house! Skylights are such a pain. Gerald said he wishes there's a way we could get a whole new roof and ceiling and get rid of them all! Doubt that will happen unless Granny wins the lottery!
