Trip to NC Part 1

I did accomplish at least one thing on our trip. I finally decided which rug to order for the spare/craft room. I looked at the design in person on a smaller rug that was in the furniture store, and that's what swayed me away from a bamboo print. The colors aren't quite accurate in the photo.



We stayed pretty busy, so we didn't get to see anyone other than family. The kids were all so excited to see each other... a dangerous group, I must say! We briefly stopped by the country store to see Granddaddy's band play, went to Build-A-Bear-Workshop for Samantha's 8th birthday where she created Betsy the cheerleading bunny, shopped in Crabtree a little while we were there, and ate some great cake! There's one other thing that I'll post about next time.
