Crocs are Evil - discourse of a shoe

Young children all over the world are getting injured from these things, and the company is lying about trying to fix the issue and making people aware. I'm sure such occurrences can happen from other shoes, but the Crocs fiasco struck a chord in me.

Okay, so I've never liked those shoes. There are some styles that are cute... the full-foot Mary Janes, the ones Airwalk makes... but I think the actual shoes that most people call "Crocs" are ridiculous, mostly because it's such a HUGE trend. I hate trends.

Shoes like those have been made at least since I was a kid... they were called clogs, and yes even Birkenstock had some that weren't leather or hard materials. Nurses wear them, gardeners wear them... Gerald and I have some Sloggers brand for working in the yard. We don't wear them in public.

When I read this article, I laughed. I couldn't help myself. Maybe I am the one who's evil deep down inside.
