North Cackalacky and More
Most of you already know that I love shopping in international markets... especially those with Asian items. They are very cute sometimes and quite odd as well. There are always lots of strange fishy items that kind of scare me. Most of the time there are English labels, but if there's not, I have to Google or ask Nikko what something is! (Thanks Nikko!!) Enid and I went to the one at Five Mile Centre in Fredericksburg several days ago. We bought some goodies (mostly sweets/chocolate) and snacked on some Hello Panda Chocolate Biscuits on the way home.

Here's Enid showing off some of her favorite socks. She always wants to wear the striped ones. She has several different colors. Like Mother like Daughter.

Enid Helmet says, "Oom Pah...I am your daughter."

We were down in NC this past weekend. It took an extra hour to get there. Apparently there was some kind of accident on 295. We sat still for an entire hour. Fun. I'm sooo glad we have the portable DVD player. Enid and I were bonkers.

Gerald passed some GI Joe toys along to Patrick. He says he's practicing to be a ninja when he grows up.

After cleaning out a bunch of old stuff at Granny and PaPa's, we discovered that my old Cabbage Patch clothes fit on Enid's Little Mommy doll, Enid. Yes, she named her Enid.

More old stuff Enid liked.

I also gave her my old camera to play with. It hasn't worked right since we took it out on the beach in 2003. I think the salt air junked it.

NOTE: The Lake Co-Op Preschool cookbooks "LOW Bistro" are on sale now for $12 if anyone is interested. I haven't seen them yet, but we have several recipes in them, and Enid might have a photo inside and funny quotes too! Let me know if you're interested.
