January Stuff in February... most of it
The weekend before my birthday, we went to Raleigh again to meet Grandma and Grandpa as they passed through on their way home from a little trippy poo. Let me say now that Macaroni Grill's Pizza Margherita is good. Very good. Everyone seemed to truly enjoy the food. Enid's kids' meal pizza was the SAME size as mine and came with a drink for half the price. Makes no sense, but hey, we used a FREE $75 gift card to buy dinner for everyone. I like belonging to a credit union with perks.
I took a few photos, but most of them are icky. After dinner we went to BJ's Wholesale (I hadn't been to one in Raleigh yet), and Enid got to ride the Noddy car. In case you didn't know, the lady who wrote/created Noddy was named Enid Blyton. Oh yeah, and we saw this adorable bird at PetCo next door.

Here's Enid pushing a cart at PetCo and us outside as we headed home. Photos courtesy of Grandpa.

While in Raleigh, we shopped at Michaels. I can't believe it, but they STILL had Xmas stuff in there. Enid picked out her very own "creature" to grow for $1. There are literally hundreds of these things, and you can buy them lots of places... even the Dollar Tree! Out of all the different ones Michaels had, Enid chose this... not a princess, or a pirate, or a mermaid, or anything like that. I'll let you know how big it gets.

Gerald took Enid to Coldstone that weekend to get my cake. They ended up with Peanut Butter Playground, because they didn't have the one I wanted... Coffee House Crunch. It's a shame that it tasted so terrible. After one tiny bite, no one touched it again. Shyeah, right. Did you think I was serious??? Here it is after the FIRST cutting.

Back to more Enid-ness...
We took Enid to Target when there was a slight chance of snow a while back, because we realized she never got snow boots this year. It was VERY good that we had waited to buy them, because they were less than $4 on clearance. We also let her pick out some rain boots for less than $4, and she christened them with a walk to the corner store with Daddy for snack one day. You'd think the child had won the lottery. Granny joked earlier today that Enid's first word was "clearance". Oddly enough, it was Christmas Tree.

I made a deal with Enid about a month ago that I would buy her a Sippersaurus if she would only drink water out of it. She's always been a water drinker, but the gimmick has helped even more.

It's funny how Enid has had "Baby Enid" since Aunt Deana and the kids got it for her 1st birthday but only started really bonding with her in the past 6 months or less. Recently, she has to sleep with her every night. Once in a blue moon, Enid takes her in the car for a ride.

We've been buying Valentine goodies for crafting here and there as we get 40% off coupons. A couple of days ago, Enid begged so much, I finally let her make her first creation with them.

This photo was just too stinking much like Enid to leave out.

And let's not forget the cats...
Watching the tub fill...

For more birthday "stuffs", check out the art blog. The SuperBowl is on and since it's not Prince again this year, I can say I haven't seen a single second of it. Goodnight.
