Kids Day at the Rocky Mount Arts Center

Saturday, two members (including me) of the Nash Community College Early Childhood Club and our advisor (who happens to be Sarah) volunteered at the Rocky Mount Arts Center. Sarah helped with cornstarch painting outside and Christina, an Early College high school student, and I helped inside making a clay coil pot. I hadn't really done anything like that in a while, and it made me want to finish my Art Education degree or get back into art with kids. Then I realized that's not going to happen any time soon, but some day maybe we'll win the lottery (guess we need to buy some tickets again) and I can go to Threefold for their Applied Arts program for teachers.

Time flew by.... Great fun!
