Time Flies When You're Living Your Life

I know, I know. I haven't been much of a blogger, but hopefully I can get back into the swing of things with this post. (Don't hold your breath.)

Earlier this month, it actually rained during the day while we were home, so Enid got to play in it! Here are a couple of my favorite shots... you can see her new haircut!

I've had several comments about my menu-making and recipes (or lack thereof), so I decided to post a snapshot of a recent plan. Now that I'm teaching full-time, a lot of these meals are prepared by Gerald. In other words, this board is immensely helpful nowadays.

Today was the Rose Ceremony at EWS and Enid's first day of school, albeit a half-day. Yes, she's in a "real" school now. I almost teared up during the ceremony, but today I've had more of a feeling of accomplishment than anything. She was very excited to walk across the "golden bridge" to be greeted by her 1st grade teacher on the other side. Photos weren't allowed (they did take one later with the each child & their teacher), but here's the stage before it all started. Wouldn't you know it... I was the first person at the Hinoki Theater.
