Veggie Tales, Cat Tails, & Kelly Tails?!?!?

A while ago we decided to keep the raised bed in the back yard, but we wanted to clear it out. So, we ripped out several azaleas, unknown flowers, and lots of weeds and planted vegetables there. It's doing pretty well. We've seen evidence of moles a few times, so next year we'll know to line the bottom with chicken wire. I'm not sure the carrots and onions will make much... we started those as seeds. We planted red pepper, yellow pepper, and green pepper, a couple of different tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, and zucchini.

Wasabi is fascinated with Enid's little table. Sometimes, he just sits up on his hind legs like this... Sweet, odd little kitty...

Inari on the other hand is the devil. Seriously, she has more energy than any person or animal should have and she can't stay out of trouble!! She likes the bathtub and sink.

I went to pick up my "leftovers" at the consignment shop a few days ago, and what was left they reconsigned. We made another whopping sum of money this time, and I used $2.50 of it to buy this for Enid. (Yes, it's Tinkle Time Kelly.) She really goes if you give her water, but we're not telling Enid that.

We had a mole problem in our yard too. Jonathan's parents gave us a metal whirlygig thingy that took care of them. The vibrations that are created when the wind blows keeps them away. It works great, and it's a non-chemical solution!

The moles in the yard haven't bothered us much, but I want to keep them out of the garden next year. Our neighbor has a windmill thingy right by the backyard where our garden is, and it doesn't work. We asked them about their yard, and they still have moles too. Darn vibra-resistant critters!!

Inari in the sink is SO cute. our ferret used to play in the sink and I'd turn the water on (just a tiniest of trickles ...) and she would put her face up there and drink from the faucet. It was REALLY silly!
