Age Warning Labels Rant

If someone knows the reason behind these decisions, please enlighten me.

I know that toys can be labeled because they have small parts that young children could swallow or choke on, but come on...

This cup says that it's for ages 3 and up! Seriously, if a kid is not even walking and can use it, why stop them?!?!



The sad thing is that people who NEED warning labels (because they are clueless as to what is developmentally appropriate or what their kids can do) probably don't read them, and that's why they are added in the first place! Am I making sense or just babbling out of annoyance?
