Paper Doll with Teeth (not literally)

Enid's treat for getting all of her happy faces on her chart was a doozy last week. I got in my head that I wanted to give her paper dolls, because I always loved them as a kid. Little did I know they'd be so hard to find. No one really sells the old-school kind, so we ended up with some weird little slotted dolls. Since I bought them at Target, we've seen more paper dolls in other stores. Go figure. Enid loves making a mess with them. Check out the "rocker" on the right.

Can anyone name the movie character Enid is portraying (or at least the movie title)? It was all Daddy's doing.

She had her first dental check-up this week. She did so well that they went ahead and did more than what a normal first visit entails. I wasn't expecting the higher fee, but they file dental insurance. Boy did she ask a million questions and talk everyone's heads off. When the dentist came over to talk with me, he gave me all this information about preemies having part of their enamel missing etc, but when he checked her, Enid's teeth were all fine! I was a little worried. He said "Someone is doing a great job of brushing those teeth, and I suspect mommy has something to do with that." and he gave me a terrorist fist jab. That cracked me up. She does have a higher palette, apparently due to having a feeding tube for so long. He says she should "grow out of it".

I will leave you with a couple of outdoor shots from this week: Enid at DEPC and my butterfly garden pot. Several new species have popped up since I took that one.
