Attack of the Murky Water Turtles

One night last week, Gerald said he wanted some good seafood. So, we all headed out to Silver Lake (right down the road) for dinner. Enid actually ordered baked sweet potato with her chicken. She loves sweet potatoes, but she's never been crazy about baked ones. I think the butter and cinnamon-sugar convinced her to eat them, and chow down on it she did!

Samantha was not feeling the greatest, but Patrick and Enid thoroughly enjoyed feeding the turtles, fish, and ducks.  I'm starting to think Enid is a nature hound.



You can kind of see in the photo below how many turtles there were. That's not even all of them.  All of those brown spots are turtles!  Some of them were HUGE.



Enid actually gave some of her feeding goodies to Patrick without any prompting. He had already thrown all of his into the water, so she said she had to share because he didn't have any more. Why can't she always be so giving?
