Canned asparagus is sacrilegious.

My belief still holds firm. I've never had canned asparagus that I've liked. After lunch today, I can still say the same thing. "I've never had canned asparagus that I've liked."  I've held onto the casserole recipe I made earlier for a few years being quite hesitant to try it. It's going in the trash in about three minutes.

I've tried canned asparagus in a few different recipes (by me & others), but it's still not good to me. Gerald wholeheartedly agrees. Seems we have something in common when it comes to food.

I'd rather eat it raw than canned ever again. Carrie, it's like you and canned peas. Ick.
