Absorbs Like a Sponge

This weekend, all on her own, Enid decided to make "ladybugs". She had trouble gluing the pieces together, so I helped, but they were all her own design. Meet Ira and Emily.



Here's a creation she made with Nikko that I forgot to post. She had told Nikko that she wanted a hat like one Roddy has hanging on his bedroom wall (an actual straw hat), so she made one!



I'm sure you all know how happy I am that Enid has such great interest in art and crafts. This is one of those nature versus nurture things in a way... BUT Of course, it doesn't hurt that she's always had a well-stocked choice of art materials at her disposal. I'm enjoying it while it lasts, just in case it doesn't last long.
