October Weekends
I had forgotten all about posting photos from the farm. Enid picked a little pumpkin for painting, a medium-sized one for carving, and a big one for the "Potato Head" witch set we always use.

While there, I spotted a goose and a fat swan. Do you see them?

The next day, we went to Raleigh and had kind of a brunchy meal at Sweet Tomatoes. Just let me say that lunch and dinner are way better there. While in Triangle Town Center, Enid posed with a unicorn called "Merlin" from Camelot Academy. There were a lot of animals (it had something to do with the state fair) designed in lots of clever ways, but the unicorn made Enid quite giddy.

One day within the past couple of weeks, Enid and I had lunch at Andy's after preschool. She got to play Jim's guitar, which made her very happy, BUT they didn't have a pink car. (She has been trying to collect different colors.) So, when she got up from nap that day, she painted the car she got pink and red and put Halloween foamies on it. Creative genius, I'm telling ya!

Last but not least... The first birthday party of the month was Drew's 1st. We drove up to Suffolk, VA for the day, because it's so darn close. Here's Enid with the birthday boy, "Baby Drew" as she called him.

Next up, Enid's party!

Oh wow, I see the swan and goose..neat!
A Sweet Tomatoes, whoa. I haven't eaten at one since we lived in Utah, maybe 2001! I didn't realize they were on 'this' coast too.
The car is beautiful! I wish I could stick Halloween foamies on my car too!
According to my other CA friend, Nikko, Souplantation is on the west coast and they're the same company. Have you eaten there??
OMG, she's getting so big!
