the Knapp-Castillo Visit
That sounds like a title for a book or movie... you know, like the Bourne Ultimatum. Anyway, Nikko, Paul, Chance, Roddy, and Mina came for the weekend. We exchanged gifts (Nikko can make some awesome rings and tote bags!), took the kids to the pool, ate too much good Mexican food, overstayed our welcome at Sweet Maria's along with Mandy although they were super gracious and thankful for the tons of stuff we bought, shopped a tiny bit, went to the Imperial Centre, and checked out the indoor snow. Enid was knocked out in the car before 7 o'clock last night. I'm sure Nikko has much cooler photos than these since she's a photographer and all, but here's what I wanted to share.
Here are some of the highlights of the Children's Museum & Science Center.
As the afternoon wore on, we participated in the indoor snow at the Imperial Centre. I must say that if you live around here and haven't experienced it, it's worth it. We had a really good time.
After the snow, it was into the Arts Center for some a good game of "How does that make you feel?". Plus, the kids put on an awesome stage production for the adults, and Nikko took tons of photos of them on the stairs.
If you've never heard of an Artomat, check out their site to see if there's one near you. Nikko's clan had never heard of them, so I got to see someone as excited as I originally was about them.
