Mighty oaks from little acorns grow.

After lots of searching and talking to people in this area, I found a preschool with a 2-day opening in Hillsborough. It's called Seedlings and it's wonderful! Gerald and Mandy call it a "hippie preschool", and it is Waldorf-inspired with a bit of Montessori thrown in. The owner, Jana, is an ex-K/1 teacher and a mother of 3 under school-age.

When we visited Seedlings Sunday, Enid really loved it and was overjoyed to see fairies in the trees and classrooms. There are also (real) bunnies and chickens and a garden for the preschool alone. I can't wait for this preschool year... More to come.
