Not Too Bad

I'm doing a so-so job ok keeping up with current events, right? The spring semester is winding down for me, and I've been writing papers and creating lesson plans left and right. My practicums are both over, and I completed the capstone project for my Birth-Kindergarten Seminar course. I'm on my way!

I guess I'll start by sharing this photo of Wasabi. He's recently rediscovered the art or perching on the back of the couch, and he's determined to perfect it. He is getting stripier and more speckled all the time. We had no idea when he was a tiny runt of a kitten that he was really going to be a big black tabby! *ETA* Inari and Wasabi are now 3 years old!

Easter came and left Enid with one egg from the egg hunt. Seriously. One egg. There were so many children at the Morrisville event that some children left eggless! I have the feeling that a lot of the families there were not even Morrisville residents. Come on, it's not a very big town. They should have been checking IDs at the gate. I guess we won't be going back next year.

After spring came creeping onto our nature table, the bunny paid a visit and brought along a little birdie friend. Enid dyed eggs at preschool this year, so we didn't do it at home.

Grandma and Grandpa visited Easter weekend, and Enid got to help Grandma make her traditional bunny cake. This year, he was chocolate-frosted!

Every once in a while, Enid draws or makes something that I just
have to share with everyone. This time it's a bicycle complete with tire pump and a bell on the handlebars. Not too bad for dry erase markers.
