Apple Pickin'

Wednesday morning, the Morning Song gang headed west about 15 miles to Efland to go apple pickin'. Enid would have picked a truck load if I had let her, but we stuck to a small basket and only spent $2! Today we had just enough to make a yummy apple cake with our slim pickins.

Here's Ms Joya showing Enid how to use the picker and lifting her up to reach an apple. Later, Enid helped her younger friends pick some low-hanging apples. Ah the perks of being the "big kid"... and super tall.
