Advent 2010 - Week 3

For the 3rd week, we added two camels, a sheep, and what we think is a donkey and a cow. Enid has asked all kinds of questions about Jesus and when his real birthday was, but I think she understands now that not everyone has the same beliefs about it. She's dying for this next week, because she's "super sure baby Jesus will show up" on the nature table. We've also talked a lot about how different people celebrate different winter holidays and that Santa doesn't visit all children.



The third light of Advent is the light of beasts.
Animals of farm, field, forest, air and sea.
All await the birth in greatest and in least.
