Finally Prepared
Our main tree is finally up... by the front window this year instead of above the fireplace. I'm happy to say that my fairy ornament collection continues to grow, and this year they have more friends to hang with. I bought some awesome little gnomey homies at the Scandinavian Fair, and I now also have a few awesome little German & Russian friends. There are so many of those types of ornaments now that I don't have to use very many "balls" to fill in empty spaces!

Last Wednesday, we took Enid to see "Santa's Helper". She explained that she wants a Quadrilla marble run set, and I couldn't hear the rest of the conversation except for him asking if she was brushing her teeth. hahaha Considering I told the lady not to even bother taking those ridiculously expensive photos they push, she got to sit with him longer than I expected. There was a bit of a line that had formed behind us. I want her to enjoy all this stuff while she can, so I was thankful we weren't rushed through.

During the past week, we did some cleaning that we hadn't gotten around to as frequently as we usually do. I was cleaning the kitchen while Gerald was cleaning bathrooms upstairs, and I kept hearing a funny noise. I walked to the stairs and found Enid "vacuuming" them with the dust buster part of her little vacuum cleaner. That thing actually sucks up some cat hair!

Yesterday, most of my side of the family gathered at my parents' house to exchange gifts (and chow down on Little Caesars, which I hadn't had in AGES). We had a a lot of laughs, and we got to see Uncle Judy and Aunt Kenneth who we don't see very often. AND I actually got to snap this photo of Gerald holding Marissa.

More to come....
