Planning Ahead

We decided to try Giant for groceries today, and although it's a big store, I was a bit disappointed in some of their selection. They have a good bakery/deli/salad bar/foods by weight area, but other than that... nothing special. I guess Ukrop's will be our regular store. We buy milk, bread, eggs, bananas, butter, and some other things at BJ's Wholesale because it is SO much cheaper. It's nice having one nearby. AND Since we're still buying diapers and wipes, the savings help!

We're trying to plan what to do for Enid's 2nd birthday. As of right now, we're thinking of having it at the pavilion right down the street by the park/community center... either the Saturday before her birthday or that Sunday on her birthday. That way, everyone will have a place to sit (somewhat comfortably), and we can walk (or drive quickly) to the house if needed. We weren't going to have as big of a party as we did last year, but after thinking about inviting immediate family and a few friends, we realized it's almost the same. At least this time, we're in between everyone and not driving 7+ hours with Enid ourselves!

We can't decide what kind of cake to get. She likes cats & dogs & soccer... then there's the Backyardigans & Tinkerbell etc. We can't get a Backyardigans cake because the bakeries won't use a copyright image we give them, and none of them have Backyardigans as an option. I'm sure something good will ring a bell soon.

OH! OH! We got back our rebate money for all the Kenmore appliances and it was almost $350!!! YIPPEEEE!
