Enid is Entertaining
While I'm STILL trying to learn Aperture 2.0, I'll post this Enid funny.
Just now, Mommy, Daddy, and Enid were playing with all of her Ponyville sets. She was pretending to read the mail and said, "Ponyville history began and was a little crooked so they twisted it back tomorrow... I mean yesterday." I'm not sure I've ever even heard her say "history", so it was quite amusing.
Earlier today, we were talking about learning new things and she said she wants to learn "baseball and to play soccer ball". I told her I wasn't so sure about baseball, but maybe she could play soccer when she's a little older. In VA, she could have started already. I need to look into that around here I guess.
Gerald and I are also taking Enid to a local preschool next week to check it out. The one I used to work at closed a few years ago. Apparently, it "fell apart" after the director and I left. She was the backbone of that place, no doubt.
ANYWAY... Enid is excited about the prospect of a new preschool and new friends. She is already asking all kinds of questions about it. I told her they were NAEYC accredited, and she looked at me like I was a monster with 3 heads when I tried to explain... even in terms she'd understand.
Oh yeah... She asked why Daddy works on computers all the time. Then when we talked about everyone's jobs, we asked her what she thought teachers work was. She said, "They play with kids!" If only it was that simple.
