Written by Enid & Some SuperWhy!

Enid called me into her bedroom at nap time this afternoon because she wanted to tell me something. Somehow, she ended up telling stories and wanted me to write them down. I wanted to share them, so here they are! (Story dictation has always been a favorite of mine.)

"The Answer of the Disguise"
There was a monkey swinging on the vines and a tiger came to see what he was doing. There was a flamingo and a dragon cooking some stuff. They were cooking some chicken for the monkey. Then the tiger ate the monkey up. The mommy monkey was finding her son. She didn't find him, because he was with the tiger in the jungle hiding far away. Then he ate him one time. That was the end of our story. by Enid

"Funky Munkgungle" by me Enid
There were stars in the air. Then there was a mommy pig that fell asleep with the daddy and the son. The little pig saw the shadow of the mommy pig. She was in the hay sleeping. She didn't know what to do. They played outside when they woke up. THE END

Enid has been watching
SuperWhy! on PBS a lot lately. She seems to have gotten tired of her other favorites... for now. I've never seen her interact with a television show as much as she does with this one. Here's a summary she told me today. I have not seen the episode she was talking about.

"The Answer of the Question on SuperWhy!" by Enid
SuperWhy has to go to AlphaPig's house, and he was finding Henry Hippo. He said he needed the other Super Readers. They were going to find out Pig's question. He didn't find Henry Hippo. They found him on the slide. Then they danced at the end.
