Play is the work of children.

Before I get too far behind again, I want to post some photos from last week's DEPC Play Group. Daddy was kind of forced into going along, because he would have otherwise been stranded in a strange part of Rocky Mount while his car's window tint was being "fixamagated". There was an unusually large group of families/kids there last week, but Enid managed to be much more mellow than before. As always, she plays well with the older kids, because the younger kids (and most her age) don't seem to pretend like she does.





I think she might take after me with the hand sewing. (Sewing machines are more my enemies than friends.) Here she is figuring out how to lace a foam shape. There were a few different ones to choose from, but she wanted all the tool shapes. She takes mostly after Daddy on that... Miss Fix-It.
