Gerald told me about this story after finding it listed on Digg.  It's an amazing example of how horrible humans can be, as well as how selfless. I warn you, this is heart wrenching and quite disturbing. BUT Out of horror comes hope. I couldn't even quite get through it all, but take the time to check it out by clicking the photo. The "additional audio" is incredible. There is also a written story you can read instead.

Just how many other children are like this out there? As someone who has worked with children and families in different capacities, I feel as if I could never do enough.
