I guess this makes sense. It's from the Jumpstart site.  "The number of books in a home is the single strongest indicator of a child's future reading ability, setting him or her on a track for success in school and in life."  It also went on to mention that the books should be developmentally appropriate for the ages of the children.

If that's true, Enid is all set!  Man, now I can just sit back and enjoy the ride.  Wait... she can't read them herself yet. Nevermind.
