Easter in the Mountains
We spent the past few days around the Wirtz, VA area. The kitchen was busy as always (as you can see from the photos below). There were spring sugar cookies, a bunny cake, strawberry preserves, dyed eggs, and an early Easter dinner.
Last night, I asked Enid where she wanted to leave her Easter basket. She said, "I think I should leave it by the door. You know, so the Easter Bunny can find it." I know for a fact that over the past several months, the Easter Bunny has been saving up lots of little things that were super cheap for him to acquire. This morning, they appeared in Enid's Easter basket: guitar picks, dice, glitter glue, Beatrix Potter sticker book set, a fairy to "grow", glow sticks for her lantern, and a Reester Bunny.

Daddy & I gave Enid a Vtech camera (that she's lost use of for now b/c of not cleaning up tonight), and she loves it! We'd been holding on to it for a while, but I didn't want to wait for her birthday.

Grandma & Grandpa gave Enid this bunny, and Nikki claimed it as his pillow.
