Our Weekend (closet play & Botanical Gardens)

Saturday morning, we drove into the Carrboro/Chapel Hill area, which begins less than a 13 miles from our house. We realized during the drive that all three of us were hungry, so we went to Carrburritos for an early lunch. I have loved everything I've ever eaten there, and now Gerald and Enid love it too! We shared a brownie for dessert, and here's what I have to say about that. YUMMILICIOUS!! We fed a couple of birds some leftover tortilla and were on our way.

Our second stop was the NC Botanical Garden. I really enjoyed it. I still can't get over how many different types of ferns alone that there are!! Enid didn't want to leave the fairies behind. See below.

Later in the afternoon we went to University Mall. There is the most awesome kitchen store there ever. I told Gerald I wanted a gift certificate from them for Xmas. We did a little mini-tour around the roads just seeing what was what. There's so much to see and so much good food! (can you tell I like to eat?)

Enid has a new hobby... playing in her closet. Since we don't really store clothes in there, one of her toy shelves and dress-up etc is in there. She's figured out that she can play in there and the cats can't get to the little pieces that they like to chew on.
