Definitions

There's a difference in "unsocial" and "antisocial", though people use them interchangeably and incorrectly all the time.  I'm sure I've even done it.  While doing research for my course on behavior (which I haven't studied in a long time), I realize how many people I know that fall into these definitions.  I even see more clearly that I am a "realist" versus "pessimist" or "optimist".  It's also interesting to see what careers people choose related to where they fall into this social spectrum.  It all makes great sense when you're looking in from the outside.

Enid is a total optimist, but I think that partially comes from her age.  I don't remember ever being so completely hopeful about every little thing and thinking up so many possibilities.  I do have a case of the "what ifs" occasionally, but I am so not a worrier like I once was.  At this point in my life, I truly believe in the threefold law a little beyond the Golden Rule.
