I knew Harris Teeter was ridiculously expensive for certain things, and that you have to be careful what you buy there. Today, I spent $2.99 on a package of Nishiki brand brown rice, because you can't buy it anywhere else around here most of the time. At an Asian market in VA Beach, I bought the same thing for $1.75. I can't wait until I'm closer to Asian markets! Splurging will be a thing of the past.
