Kinderdance, NC Maker Faire, & Cats (April)

Okay, so I've fallen behind again. I've allowed schooling to get in the way. Seriously though, the first summer session ends this week and the second one begins. Ugh. I'm very close to finishing though, so I shouldn't complain. UNCG transferred in a lot of classes in places that they probably shouldn't have since it's a 2Plus program, so I DEFINITELY shouldn't complain about that!

Enid finished Kinderdance back in April, and she really misses it. She's become somewhat obsessed with Angelina Ballerina books, and she's always dancing and prancing around the house. One day she talks about learning "real" ballet and then the next she wants to do Irish dancing. I'm not sure which she'll end up doing, but she needs something ASAP! Granny and PaPa came for her Kinderdance "recital". The trophy Ms Mary gave her has been standing as a centerpiece on the dining room table since.

We went to the 1st ever NC Maker Faire in Durham since it wasn't far from us at all and it was FREE! There were lots of cool things there, and stuff Enid could do hands-on. She got to make music, machine sew, and weave just to name a few. She was also really interested in the bees! I am so glad they are well contained.

We also discovered another really yummy Asian restaurant on Aiport Blvd over by the airport, Asian Aroma, so it's not too far from us. Enid was excited about the statues out front and asked to have her photo taken with one. When she realized the sun was blazing, she told me to hurry up and take it!

One day while playing with her Tinkertoys, Enid made a drum set complete with a pedal. I thought it was quite creative.

Here are the cat photos I'm so fond of posting. Ebi is finally out and about now, so I'll have more photos to share of her soon. Here she is watching birds on the feeder.

Here she is hanging out in the bottom floor of Enid's dollhouse. You can see her eyes on the bottom left.

Here's Inari penned inside Enid's doll fence. It looks like she must have eaten all the veggies and needed a nap.

More to come.
