Kings Dominion

Yes, we have photos, but no, I can't post them yet! Shame on us!

We had a pretty good day at Kings Dominion, but it's definitely not as well-maintained as Bush Gardens (Man, I miss that place!). You'd think with all the moolah they must rake in ($10 to park!), they'd spend some of it for general upkeep. Since it's not the summer season, most of the food carts and "restaurants" weren't prepared, and some of the stuff just wasn't available.

I found a strawberry fairy to add to my collection. We wanted to buy Enid something with the Backyardigans, but there just wasn't anything worth the price. She did get to see Little Bill, Scooby Doo, some Fairly OddParent character, SpongeBob... no Dora! We didn't go to the stage show, so I guess Dora was hiding out there. She's not too thrilled to meet the characters, but she doesn't scream and cry like some kids.

She got to ride Scooby Doo & the Haunted Mansion, but Gerald said half way through she got scared. She enjoyed the Merry-Go-Round and seemed to like watching the rest of us be silly. Gerald and I rode the Volcano, and I closed my eyes in the beginning not knowing when we were going to be shot forward from a dead stop, and then I couldn't open them! They watered the whole time and I missed all the action! It was a WILD ride.

Enid really enjoyed having her cousin Caitlyn around. (She kept calling her "Caitin".) She also takes to Uncle Clayton easily.

PS: Even ChickFilA at Kings Dominion is closed on Sunday! LOL
