Times They are a-Changin'

... but more on that later. It's busy busy busy here!

Meet Enid Voorhees. She can be seen at the Massaponax SuperTarget from now until Halloween for photo opportunities and autographs.

The big party day came and went and boy was I pooped after that!!! I made Charlie & Lola butterflies for the dining room table during nap one day, and Enid immediately knew what they were... "Mommy look! Charlie & Lola shapes!"

I'm glad our helium tank from last year's party was still good. Saving money is always nice.

Granny and PaPa came for the weekend. Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Clayton, and Caitlyn were here. My friend, Nikko, from VA Beach drove up with her kids, Chance, Roddy, and Mina, so that was a nice surprise... We hadn't seen them since they visited us in GA in 2003!! Gerald's friend, Dave, drove up with his wife, Amy, and her son, Keegan, plus their new baby, Drew. He's so cute and tiny... I can't even believe Enid was ever that small and smaller!! Enid was lovely to him and kissed his nose.

Pizza... yum!

The cupcakes were yummilicious!! We added the sprinkly things, but Ukrop's bakery rocked the rest!

Here's the birthday girl enjoying her "cuppycake".

Enid loved all of her presents, and now she has her very own scrapbook and stuff to get started with!

The kids really enjoyed the pinata. It was pretty hard to open, and I had to yank the bottom part off for the goodies to rain down.

After some brief shenanigans in the front yard, most of us headed to FunLand.

Enid likes the video games that have "rides". Here she is with Dave after taking several turns already.

Enid finally got to ride the Frog Hopper. The attendant let her slip through because of her height, even though she isn't 4 yet. Caitlyn and Mina rode with her while the boys climbed the rock wall.

Just about everyone rode go-karts later in the afternoon. We thought Enid might get scared, but she did just fine. Here she is waiting in line, and then riding with Daddy.

Chance and Roddy give Mina and their mom the "thumbs up". The boys were big enough to drive themselves on the smaller track.

After all the fun and excitement died down and people started heading home, the leftover bunch of us headed out for some dinner at Firehouse Subs. That was the final straw for Enid... she knocked out on the way home and didn't wake up until 7:15 the next morning!! All in all... a good day!
