Got to Be NC Festival
It was pretty warm Sunday morning, but there was a breeze blowing here and there, so it wasn't too terrible until lunch time. BUT we beat the church crowd and were done before it got really busy. The rides/games were WAY overpriced (probably the going rate these days) at almost $3 each! Enid was a little upset that we wouldn't let her ride or play a game, but when we told her we'd save the money for Busch Gardens and explained the quality difference, she was fine with it. We tried some free samples, visited lots of booths, entered lots of drawings, saw some awesome yarns & met a spinner, saw lots of tractors, ate some yummy food, bought some great cooking items, and overall had a good time.
There were several booths that had wheels you could spin, and Enid, being a fan of the Price is Right, was dying to spin one of them. She finally got the chance to spin one at the NC Agriculture table, and she correctly answered a hand sanitizer versus handwashing question all on her own! Here is the prize she picked...

Yep, she passed over an ink pen (which I just knew she'd choose), a ruler, and something else, and chose an emery board. At least she got to spin a wheel.
