Crisis in the Kindergarten

Yesterday I participated in a webinar titled "Crisis in the Kindergarten: Why Children Need to Play in School" It was hosted by Kaboom! and led by Joan Almon and Edward Miller of the Alliance for Childhood. Let me just say that Joan Almon, a former Waldorf teacher, does an awesome job of making me want to get out and do something. The statistics were alarming and now more than ever we need people to speak out against didactic and academic preschools and Kindergartens and make the man listen.
