Long Time No Contact Friends

Gerald made a comment the other day about how many ways people can communicate these days (cell phones, email, etc etc) but yet so many just don't keep in touch at all. We have several friends all over the country (and other parts of the world) that we rarely hear from or that we have to contact ourselves. BUT... My response was that what kills me are the people who practically live next door to each other and text on their cells or follow each other on Twitter or "FriendFace" sites. That's good stuff. Wow.

I still love writing snail mail myself, but I really only know one or two people who join in.
