Party and Pancakes in the Past
First of all, Enid enjoyed her trip to VA as always. Here she is posing with the scooter that Grandma and Grandpa bought for her. Apparently, she'll ride it all day if you let her.

I had completely forgotten that I had photos of a birthday party we went to in Nash County. One of Enid's preschool friends had a horse-themed party at her grandparents' farm. It was hot, but a great party for the kids! We all took turns on a wagon ride down to the river, the kids got to go horseback riding, and we ate cake and ice cream sundaes. Enid sure loved seeing her preschool friends again, and she always loves riding a horse.

In the pasture next to the house, there were four horses that kept galloping back and forth "following" us all. I think they were used to being fed by hand.

A couple of weekends ago, we made blueberry pancakes for breakfast (with fresh blueberries from a farm in Johnston County). This time, Enid got really creative with the shape of her pancakes. One reminded me of Snoopy, and one even looked like a parrot on a limb! See for yourself!
